Paranormal Census #9 – A Spectral Cemetery Encounter

This entry comes to us from Melanie, a Reiki master. She was on an afternoon walk with a friend when it turned into an unexpected paranormal encounter.

I am not sure if you are still doing the study but I decided to share my experience with you anyway. I am an intuitive Reiki master and some of my gifts include that I am able to connect with spirits and nonhuman entities/energies not of the physical form. I enjoy helping spirits move on and have also removed negative energies and energies.
In my story, my friend and I were walking through a local cemetery at the time . This particular cemetery dates back to the seventeen hundreds. It’s also located in a very idyllic setting, that’s why we chose to walk there. On that particular day when we were walking, I all of a sudden heard a voice coming from behind me saying, “excuse me miss, can you help my friend?” I stopped and tried to figure where the voice was coming from but I couldn’t initially. I also couldn’t identify at first that the voice was female. I told my friend and then asked the spirit to show or tell me what it needed. I was lead on a different path a short distance away when I saw a blonde haired woman spirit in a modest dress not from this time hovering by some graves. I also noticed that she was contorting her face as if she wasn’t right of the mind. I immediately knew that this was the ‘friend’ that needed help. With some divine assistance, I helped the woman cross over, but before she left , I asked her to give me her name. The reply I received was “Hannah”.
I told my friend about what I had heard and as we continued walking on our way talking about what just happened, suddenly I was drawn to two graves that were off in the short distance to the right. I told my friend I needed to go there but I didn’t know why. So we walked to the graves, and the inscription on the one to the right was illegible, weathered away. However, when we looked at the inscription on the grave to the left, the woman’s name who was buried there was Hannah. She had died in 1895. To say the least, I felt very humbled to have been shown the grave of the woman I just encountered. I know she’s at rest now. Usually I don’t receive tangible confirmation like this. That’s why this particular experience stayed with me.

Melanie not only viewed an apparition, but was also able to hear it as well. In addition, she followed her intuition and was able to find the grave stone of the person she encountered in a different part of the cemetery. Each experience individually is interesting. All experiences combined makes for a fantastic paranormal experience that we are glad Melanie shared with via our census form.
